Shipping Policy

Any customs duties or taxes that may incur as deemed by your country's legal regulations shall be borne by the customer, hence it is advisable that you check this with your local authorities prior to completing the order. 

Once your order has shipped, we are not responsible for any uncollected parcels due to incomplete/wrong address or unsuccessful delivery attempts. We are not liable for unanticipated delays due to bad weather conditions or customs clearance procedures.

In the case of missing or lost parcels, refunds will be processed only upon official confirmation from the postal service. According to universal postal regulations, the inquiry may take up to 2 months to conclude.

FREE standard shipping Australia wide for orders over $100 (No code required)

  • Standard Shipping: $8.95 (3-5 business days) for order under $100
  • Express Shipping: $15 (1-3 business days)

All orders will be dispatched from Sydney, Australia within 3 business days of the order being placed. For custom orders please allow a maximum 5 day turn around period. Exceptions may apply during promotional and busy holiday periods. 

All shipping charges from your order are non-refundable, and we are unable to change your shipping method once you have placed your order.

International

Free standard shipping for orders over $120 (No code required)

  • Standard shipping flat rate of $15 for orders below $120 (6-12 business days)

Due to customs requirements, unfortunately we do not ship to PO Boxes. Please provide your postal address.

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes, local duties and taxes, and items that are lost in transit. Items that are delayed due to Australia Post are not covered for a refund if they are successfully delivered even though not on time.

DUTIES and TAXES

You may be charged for duties, taxes or any surcharges which may be imposed by your country as your order passes through customs, in addition to handling/storage fees imposed by the courier (if applicable). Customers are liable for such charges and may be contacted by the local customs agencies directly to settle these charges. Please note that Dear April does not pre-pay or cover these costs, has no control over these charges and are unable to advise you what the cost would be as customs policies and import duties vary from country to country. To estimate these expected charges, please contact your local customs agency for details. We do not accept return refunds for the customers’ decision to reject custom charges, this is a responsibility of the customer.

TRACKING DETAILS

You will be notified by email when your order has been dispatched. Shortly after, you will receive tracking notifications directly from Australia Post, along with estimated delivery times and options to manage your delivery.

These emails may take up to 24 hours from when your shipping confirmation is received to appear in your inbox. If you're unable to locate your shipping notification emails please check your spam folder or emails and let us know at: hello@dearapril.com

FAILURE TO DELIVER / PICK-UP

As the recipient, you are responsible for any subsequent costs incurred for parcels returned to our office due to attempted deliveries, insufficient/incorrect delivery information or failure to retrieve parcels from delivery centres. Standard shipping fees will be incurred for all parcels re-sent from our office.

Please ensure that your delivery address and mobile number is accurate, to ensure your jewels gets to you as quickly as possible!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched.
  • If you receive a collection slip in your letterbox to pick up your parcel from the nearest post office, please do so ASAP or it will be sent 'return to sender' after 3 days and you will be responsible for postage charges for Dear April to return it to you
  • If your Australia Post tracking number shows that your parcel has been delivered Dear April are not responsible for replacement. Any damaged goods during transit will be exchanged after the damaged product is returned to our office
