WHERE IS MY ORDER?
We know you can’t wait to start wearing your new Dear April jewels, and we can’t wait to get them to you! However, as we are a small business, please allow us 1-2 days to process your order, starting from the order confirmation date.
Once your order has been shipped, an email including your tracking number will be sent to you.
Whilst the majority of parcels are arriving on time, you may experience some delays due to the impacts of COVID-19.

GOLD FILLED FAQ
What is Gold Fill? Gold Fill is a high quality, affordable alternative to Solid Gold. Basically, there is a thick layer of solid gold bonded to a base metal, usually brass.
Does Gold Fill Tarnish? All fine metals will tarnish with time. Gold Fill has 100 times more gold alloy than Gold Plated and because this layer of gold is much thicker it means that Gold Filled jewellery last longer and doesn't tarnish easily.
Does Gold Fill turn my finger green? No! However, everyone reacts to metals differently. There are certain cases where peoples body chemistry reacts to gold, oxidising it and leaving a green residue on your skin. This has to do with your PH levels.
How do I care for Gold Fill Jewellery? Your Gold Fill Jewellery can last a lifetime if properly cared for! I suggest storing your jewellery away from the elements, especially humidity. Avoid direct contact with water, perfumes and lotions, these things have potential to oxidise your jewellery.
IS OUR JEWELLERY HYPO-ALLERGENIC?
Hypoallergenic jewellery is made from materials less likely to cause a reaction.
If you have an allergy to some jewellery, most of the time it's due to either Nickel and Copper. Brass is a Copper and Zinc alloy but our Stainless Steel pieces do not contain Nickel, Chronium or Lead which are common irritants for people who are sensitive to some jewellery.
We also tested the jewellery on real people for 30 days and more to ensure the quality and to make sure our pieces won't cause any unpleasant reaction.
If you are unsure, we suggest to get the gold filled or sterling silver jewellery instead. As both of this material are less likely will be causing an allergic reaction.
IS DEAR APRIL ECO-FRIENDLY?
Yes! When starting Dear April, one of our goals was, and still is, to be as eco-friendly as possible. We try to not use plastic or any material that is not biodegradable / recyclable
Our custom Dear April jewellery boxes are made to be a keepsake and re-used, not disposed, however the boxes are composed of cardboard. We also try to pack as many pieces in one jewellery box to limit wastage.
Our parcels are sent in a cardboard mailer box with tissue paper and paper tape, which are 100% recyclable, we also use compostable mailing bag for international order.
In our studio we aim to reduce waste, limit printing, recycle and reuse paper as much as possible.
